The auction ended at the price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,357.04), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Masahisa Fukase have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cape Erimo from Ravens in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 122,333.86).

Die Arbeit Nayoro from Ravens von Masahisa Fukase wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation, Part 2 bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 18.357,04) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Masahisa Fukase auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cape Erimo from Ravens im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 122.333,86).
