The work The Sampler by Mary Gow was sold in the British Art on Paper auction at Christies in London in November 2006. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,484.56), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mary Gow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harmony, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,155.42).

Die Arbeit The Sampler von Mary Gow wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion British Art on Paper bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.484,56) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mary Gow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harmony beobachtet, die im November 2005 für GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.155,42) versteigert wurde.
