The work The Blue Shawl by Mary Gow was sold in the European & British Art auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 18,034.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mary Gow; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Harmony sold at auction in November 2005 with the realized price of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,155.42).

Die Arbeit The Blue Shawl von Mary Gow wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion European & British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 18.034,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mary Gow; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Harmony im November 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.155,42).
