The price achieved of USD 1,260,375.00 (€ 1,174,517.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Quong Yuen Shing & Co. is the most expensive artwork by Martin Wong that we have observed at auctions so far.
