In May 2021 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Sunset At Point Judith Light by Martin Johnson Heade. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Johnson Heade achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Great Florida Sunset in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 5,850,000.00 (€ 5,538,723.73).
