This artwork by Martin Jacobson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Forest Pond" sold for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,032.72) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martin Jacobson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Diana with colors", which sold at auction in November 2015 for SEK 135,000.00 (€ 14,647.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Martin Jacobson erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wurde die Arbeit "Forest Pond" für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.032,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Martin Jacobson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Diana with colors" beobachtet, die im November 2015 für SEK 135.000,00 (€ 14.647,79) versteigert wurde.
