Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #7 by Markus Amm was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,836.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Markus Amm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,056.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled #7 von Markus Amm kam im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.836,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Markus Amm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.056,90).
