Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Christies in London held the auction Handpicked: 50 works selected by the Saatchi Gallery, which included this untitled work by Markus Amm. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,901.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Markus Amm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,056.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Handpicked: 50 works selected by the Saatchi Gallery durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Markus Amm zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.901,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Markus Amm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.056,90).
