Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2012 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Two Works: Untitled by Markus Amm. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,833.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Markus Amm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,056.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2012 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Works: Untitled von Markus Amm zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.833,85) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Markus Amm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.056,90).
