Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cruel Mirror by Mark Flood was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,600.00 (€ 12,879.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Flood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Star Channel in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cruel Mirror von Mark Flood wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.600,00 (€ 12.879,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Flood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Star Channel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 153.225,81).
