Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Sisskind City by Mark Flood for USD 6,350.00 (€ 5,762.25). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction at Phillips in 17 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Flood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Star Channel in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sisskind City von Mark Flood für USD 6.350,00 (€ 5.762,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips in 17 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Flood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Star Channel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 153.225,81).
