Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mark di Suvero was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,766.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark di Suvero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tumbleweed II (Joint) in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 548,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mark di Suvero wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.766,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark di Suvero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tumbleweed II (Joint) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 548.000,00.
