Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Assemblage by Mark Boyle for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,341.32). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Post-War British Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mark Boyle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sandstone Study with Bricks and working Glove, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 10,904.75).
