Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Found Construction by Mark Boyle was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,116.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Mark Boyle have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work Sandstone Study with Bricks and working Glove was auctioned for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 10,904.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Found Construction von Mark Boyle kam im März 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.116,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Mark Boyle konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2002 die Arbeit Sandstone Study with Bricks and working Glove für GBP 7.050,00 (€ 10.904,75) versteigert.
