Admittedly, works by Marion Post Wolcott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vegetable pickers, migrants, waiting after work to be paid, near Homestead, Florida, Feb 1939 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 21,420.00 (€ 18,542.24).
