Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mario Tozzi could be acquired at Christies in Milan in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction, the work Nel bosco di Cavandone changed hands for EUR 3,780.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Tozzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Pittore - 1931 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 153,080.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Tozzi konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Nel bosco di Cavandone für EUR 3.780,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Tozzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Pittore - 1931 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 153.080,00.
