Upper estimate price exceeded by 63 %.
In November last year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Figura con capelli lunghi by Mario Tozzi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 13,000.00 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Tozzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Pittore - 1931 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 153,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figura con capelli lunghi von Mario Tozzi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 13.000,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Tozzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Pittore - 1931 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 153.080,00.
