Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cubetti ed involucro by Mario Tozzi was sold in the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in May last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Tozzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Pittore - 1931 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 153,080.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cubetti ed involucro von Mario Tozzi wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Tozzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Pittore - 1931 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 153.080,00.
