This artwork by Mario Tozzi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Figura sold for EUR 16,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Tozzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il Pittore - 1931 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 153,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Tozzi erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Figura für EUR 16.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Tozzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il Pittore - 1931 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 153.080,00.
