In December 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art - Day Sale, which included the work Figure, Visage Lunaire - 1977 by Mario Tozzi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,120.00 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Tozzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Pittore - 1931 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 153,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art - Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figure, Visage Lunaire - 1977 von Mario Tozzi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.120,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Tozzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Pittore - 1931 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 153.080,00.
