Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2015 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Cairo by Mario Moretti Foggia. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 7,000.00. Other works by Mario Moretti Foggia have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 7,562.00 (€ 8,879.64) in November 2019 for the work Alle tombe dei califfi.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cairo von Mario Moretti Foggia zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 7.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer.
