Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ciliegio in fiore by Mario Moretti Foggia was sold in the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction at Il Ponte in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,200.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Moretti Foggia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alle tombe dei califfi in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 7,562.00 (€ 8,879.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ciliegio in fiore von Mario Moretti Foggia wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Moretti Foggia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alle tombe dei califfi im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.562,00 (€ 8.879,64).
