Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Vecchi gelsi by Mario Moretti Foggia. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 650.00 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Moretti Foggia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alle tombe dei califfi in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 7,562.00 (€ 8,879.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vecchi gelsi von Mario Moretti Foggia zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 650,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Moretti Foggia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alle tombe dei califfi im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.562,00 (€ 8.879,64).
