This artwork by Mario Moretti Foggia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in December this year. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Fanciulla nel vento sold for EUR 2,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Moretti Foggia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alle tombe dei califfi in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 7,562.00 (€ 8,879.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Moretti Foggia erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wurde die Arbeit Fanciulla nel vento für EUR 2.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Moretti Foggia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alle tombe dei califfi im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.562,00 (€ 8.879,64).
