This artwork by Mario Moretti Foggia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November 2018. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo auction, the work Punta Gnifetti, Monte Rosa sold for EUR 1,100.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Moretti Foggia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alle tombe dei califfi in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 7,562.00 (€ 8,879.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Moretti Foggia erzielte im November 2018 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo wurde die Arbeit Punta Gnifetti, Monte Rosa für EUR 1.100,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Moretti Foggia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alle tombe dei califfi im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.562,00 (€ 8.879,64).
