The work My Home's Wind by Mario Merz was worth GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,880.15) to a buyer in July this year. This price was achieved in the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online at Christies in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Merz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piccolo caimano in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 962,500.00 (€ 1,346,297.09).
