Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (from Presa di Coscienza Sulla Natura) by Mario Giacomelli was sold in the Photographs auction at Bonhams in London in October this year. The price achieved of USD 2,304.00 (€ 2,180.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Giacomelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,279.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (from Presa di Coscienza Sulla Natura) von Mario Giacomelli wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.304,00 (€ 2.180,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Giacomelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selected Images im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.279,51).
