In July this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Sky Gazers by Mario Ceroli. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,600.00 (€ 23,230.49), 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Ceroli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Si+No, which sold at auction in November 2013 for EUR 87,900.00.

Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sky Gazers von Mario Ceroli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.600,00 (€ 23.230,49) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Ceroli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Si+No beobachtet, die im November 2013 für EUR 87.900,00 versteigert wurde.
