Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Window-Personage-Flower by Mario Ceroli was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in July this year. The price achieved of USD 5,440.00 (€ 4,936.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Ceroli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Si+No in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 87,900.00.

Die Arbeit Window-Personage-Flower von Mario Ceroli wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.440,00 (€ 4.936,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Ceroli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Si+No im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 87.900,00.
