Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art, which included the work Les Cavaliers by Mariano Andreu. It changed hands for a price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,495.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mariano Andreu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Cirque in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 100,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Cavaliers von Mariano Andreu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.495,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mariano Andreu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Cirque im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 100.000,00.
