Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Biarritz Plage by Mariano Andreu was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2019. The price achieved of EUR 50,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Mariano Andreu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Le Cirque was auctioned for EUR 100,000.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 50.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Mariano Andreu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2018 die Arbeit Le Cirque für EUR 100.000,00 versteigert.
