Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mariano Andreu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. In the Collection Pierre Le-Tan, Session I auction, the work L'Homme au bateau (Homme à la pipe rêvant de partir en mer) sold for EUR 20,160.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mariano Andreu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Cirque in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 100,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mariano Andreu erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Pierre Le-Tan, Session I wurde die Arbeit L'Homme au bateau (Homme à la pipe rêvant de partir en mer) für EUR 20.160,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mariano Andreu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Cirque im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 100.000,00.
