In September 2008 Christies in London held the auction Exploration and Travel, which included the work Six studies of Australian flora and funghi of Papua New Guinea by Marian Ellis Rowan. The result of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,161.00) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marian Ellis Rowan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Decorated Screen with Wildflowers, c.1880 in November 2021 with an auction result of AUD 59,040.00 (€ 52,307.96).

Im September 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Exploration and Travel durch, in der auch die Arbeit Six studies of Australian flora and funghi of Papua New Guinea von Marian Ellis Rowan zur Versteigerung kam.
