Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape with Trees by Marian Ellis Rowan for AUD 615.00 (€ 374.85). This price was achieved in the auction The Fred and Elinor Wrobel Collection Online at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts and was even below the estimate range of AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marian Ellis Rowan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Decorated Screen with Wildflowers, c.1880 in November 2021 with an auction result of AUD 59,040.00 (€ 52,307.96).

Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape with Trees von Marian Ellis Rowan für AUD 615,00 (€ 374,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Fred and Elinor Wrobel Collection Online bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marian Ellis Rowan erzielen.
