Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,877.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marian Ellis Rowan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Decorated Screen with Wildflowers, c.1880 in November 2021 with an auction result of AUD 59,040.00 (€ 52,307.96).
