It achieved a price of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,127.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Marcin Maciejowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picasso'S Boy With Pipe in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 99,646.17).

Die Arbeit Stól (Table) von Marcin Maciejowski kam im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.127,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcin Maciejowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Picasso'S Boy With Pipe im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 99.646,17).
