Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Marcin Maciejowski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Bowl of Fruit, Violin and Bottle (1914) sold for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,669.74) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcin Maciejowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picasso'S Boy With Pipe in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 99,646.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcin Maciejowski erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Bowl of Fruit, Violin and Bottle (1914) für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.669,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcin Maciejowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Picasso'S Boy With Pipe im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 99.646,17).
