Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Marcin Maciejowski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2018. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Look. My Eyes Are Dreamy sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,867.30) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcin Maciejowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picasso'S Boy With Pipe in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 99,646.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcin Maciejowski erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Look. My Eyes Are Dreamy für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.867,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcin Maciejowski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picasso'S Boy With Pipe im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 99.646,17).
