Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Bad Dream by Marcin Łukasiewicz for GBP 188.00 (€ 231.86). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcin Łukasiewicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bad Dream in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 7,800.00 (€ 5,895.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bad Dream von Marcin Łukasiewicz für GBP 188,00 (€ 231,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcin Łukasiewicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bad Dream im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.800,00 (€ 5.895,69).
