Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Studio by Marcin Łukasiewicz was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in July last year. The price achieved of USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,374.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcin Łukasiewicz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bad Dream in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 7,800.00 (€ 5,895.69).

Die Arbeit Studio von Marcin Łukasiewicz kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.374,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcin Łukasiewicz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bad Dream im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.800,00 (€ 5.895,69).
