The work Trofeo by Marcelo Bonevardi was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2011. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,912.08) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcelo Bonevardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Habitat, which sold at auction in June 2007 for USD 62,400.00 (€ 46,153.85).

Die Arbeit Trofeo von Marcelo Bonevardi kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.912,08) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcelo Bonevardi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Habitat beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für USD 62.400,00 (€ 46.153,85) versteigert wurde.
