The work Trap for the Moon II by Marcelo Bonevardi was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2013. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,398.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcelo Bonevardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Habitat, which sold at auction in June 2007 for USD 62,400.00 (€ 46,153.85).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Trap for the Moon II von Marcelo Bonevardi kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.398,83) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcelo Bonevardi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Habitat beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für USD 62.400,00 (€ 46.153,85) versteigert wurde.
