Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Christies in Paris held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Eden blu by Marcello Lo Giudice. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcello Lo Giudice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Orange - Yellow Sun in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eden blu von Marcello Lo Giudice zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcello Lo Giudice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Orange - Yellow Sun im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
