Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Spacial-Mobile by Marcelle Cahn. The price achieved of EUR 14,650.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcelle Cahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Abstraite in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 168,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spacial-Mobile von Marcelle Cahn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 14.650,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcelle Cahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.750,00.
