The work Rêveur Paradoxal by Marcel Jean was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March 2018. The result of EUR 4,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Jean achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La lune d'Eiffel in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 94,000.00 (€ 110,425.79).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Rêveur Paradoxal von Marcel Jean kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 4.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Jean erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La lune d'Eiffel im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.000,00 (€ 110.425,79).
