Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ohne Titel (Regen). by Marcel Bovis was sold in the Auktionen 222-228 - Photographie auction at Grisebach in May 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 625.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcel Bovis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nude Solarisation , C.1935, which sold at auction in July 2020 for EUR 2,500.00.

Die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Regen). von Marcel Bovis wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Auktionen 222-228 - Photographie bei Grisebach versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 625,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcel Bovis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nude Solarisation , C.1935 beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für EUR 2.500,00 versteigert wurde.
