Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bonhams held the auction Classic & Contemporary Photographs, which included the work Champs-Élysées, Paris by Marcel Bovis. The price achieved of USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,385.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Other works by Marcel Bovis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2020 the work Nude Solarisation , C.1935 was auctioned for EUR 2,500.00.

Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Classic & Contemporary Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Champs-Élysées, Paris von Marcel Bovis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.385,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Marcel Bovis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2020 die Arbeit Nude Solarisation , C.1935 für EUR 2.500,00 versteigert.
