Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'The Painter of the Eiffel Tower', 1953 by Marc Riboud. The price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,752.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Marc Riboud have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work 12 Photographs, 1950S-1980S was auctioned for GBP 13,700.00 (€ 19,183.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'The Painter of the Eiffel Tower', 1953 von Marc Riboud zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.752,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Marc Riboud konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit 12 Photographs, 1950S-1980S für GBP 13.700,00 (€ 19.183,54) versteigert.
