Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction PhotographsSummer Edition, which included the work Accra, Ghana by Marc Riboud. The price achieved of USD 1,211.25 (€ 1,026.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Riboud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 12 Photographs, 1950S-1980S in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 13,700.00 (€ 19,183.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion PhotographsSummer Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Accra, Ghana von Marc Riboud zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.211,25 (€ 1.026,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Riboud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 12 Photographs, 1950S-1980S im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.700,00 (€ 19.183,54).
