Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Torse - 1998 by Marc Desgrandchamps was auctioned at Artcurial in October 2016. The price achieved of EUR 1,170.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Desgrandchamps achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,050.00.

Die Arbeit Torse - 1998 von Marc Desgrandchamps kam im Oktober 2016 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.170,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Desgrandchamps erzielen.
